Welcome

AZ AllanteIn the fall of 2005, a couple of car enthusiasts and Allanté owners, got together and thought it would be a good idea to start a club for their cars. We needed a name that would exactly say who we were. So the Arizona Allanté–XLR Association was founded. The new club started out slowly. Short car trips, a few monthly lunch meetings and other activities.

Our car club has grown from these first few members to over 50 at the present time. We have monthly breakfast meetings, September to April, where we discuss technical car problems and provide solutions. There are also tech meetings at various businesses that cater to our cars. There is our “Annual Allanté-XLR Day at the Pavilions” where about 25 members put their cars on display. This forum has added a large portion of our new members.

Other activities include a B-B-Q at a member’s home, Barrett Jackson Road Rally, a day at Russo Steele car auction and the famous “Clark Griswold Road Trip” to various tourist spots around our beautiful state just to name a few of our activities.>

Members are provided a list of qualified mechanics, part suppliers and other avenues that are able to repair our cars. This fall the 1987 model Allanté celebrated its Silver Anniversary…25 years! As the Cadillac Allantés age and the XLR soon to follow, it becomes more of a challenge to find replacement parts and qualified mechanics. This is where our car club has become so very important to the owners of these fine cars.

Our club slogan is “IT’S NOT JUST THE CAR, IT’S THE PEOPLE.” We would love to have you join us.
